Boreas Hires YPS Inc. To Rep Pacific Northwest

Boreas logoBoreas has brought on YPS Inc. to handle sales in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. YPS owner Ned Johnson, along with three outside reps and an office manager, will be handling the Pacific Northwest territory from Seattle, WA.

According to Anders Johnson, Boreas' sales manager, YPS was chosen for their experience in the outdoor industry of over three decades, specializing in hiking, cycling, water sports and winter sports.

 

Teko Bolsters Sales Force Representation

Teko has hired new sales rep agencies in three territories. John Horsnell in the Midwest, Jeff Winnick in New England and Doug Odom in the Carolinas bring extensive experience in footwear, socks, apparel and outdoor gear across the bike, run, outdoor and ski channels.

Additionally, starting this month, Teko will begin shipping their latest generation of U.S. made eVapor8 and organic Sin3rgi technical socks.

 

Bergans USA Grows Sales Force

Bergans USA has added three new reps to its independent sales force: Bob Kirkup, Terry Mullins and Kurt Watkins. This is part of a greater plan to grow the North American sales and marketing efforts of Bergans of Norway's new subsidiary.

Stormy Kromer Infuses Sales Team With New Agencies

Stormy KromerStormy Kromer announces the expansion of its sales territory with the addition of the Rep First agency to their sales team. Stormy Kromer looks to cover 13 states from Maryland to Florida, which would grow the company's presence in new areas. Rep First was founded in 1976 by David Ripley and his father, who represents a number of outdoor brands such as Johnson Outdoors and Kavu.

Stormy Kromer also announced the addition of new sales reps, Rockman Kleiman Company for the New Jersey, metro New York, and Pennsylvania areas. Rockman brings experience in working with Red Wing Heritage, Cushe Footwear, and a number of different outdoor brands since the early 1990's.

 

Marker Skiwear Changes Northeast Reps

Hawk and Assoc. has ended the representation of Marker Skiwear in the Northeast territory. The team had 10 years of experience selling and servicing Marker Skiwear products but will now devote effort to other brands in the portfolio.

Scarpa Adds Velocity Sales to Represent New England Area

ScarpaScarpa North America has added news sales reps in the New England area. Velocity Sales will now represent Scarpa in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

The Velocity team includes Mike Schmidt, Bill Bruzzese and Jason Cote who have 50 years of cumulative experience in the outdoor industry. This includes 25 years of experience working specifically with technical outdoor footwear and ski boots in New England.
